Presentation Diagnosing an issue is one of the most significant stages in settling issues influencing people seeing someone and the issues confronting the family. Be that as it may, analysis doesn't happen without the use of specific models or theories.Advertising We will compose a custom paper test on Family and Marriage Therapy explicitly for you for just $16.05 $11/page Learn More An advisor should utilize a specific model or hypothesis in diagnosing an issue influencing a person in marriage or in a relationship. Hypothesis alludes to refined assemblage of information inferring that it comprises of ideas and thoughts that have been applied effectively. In a family and marriage hypothesis, specialists apply certain speculations in directing their psychotherapy. These speculations are a lot of suggesting that an advisor should chose the best hypothesis. In this article, three hypotheses would be talked about in detail. They incorporate arrangement based hypothesis, basic, and passio nate based hypothesis. The significant propositions of the hypotheses will be talked about and individual view would be given. Arrangement Focused Theory Solution centered hypothesis is a hypothesis that depends on social constructionist standard. The hypothesis sets that the fundamental point of the customer is to accomplish some different option from address all the issues confronting the person in question. In such manner, the therapist’s significant assignment is to assemble the desires and the interests of the customer in a most savvy way. The sort of treatment to be offered ought not concentrate on the past at all on the grounds that the patient is as of now mindful of the past mix-ups. The customer is worried about the current issues and the future arrangements. The hypothesis notes further that change is consistent implying that it will consistently be available in an individual’s life. The job of the specialist is to enable the customer to shape an ideal futur e by helping him hold a few objectives, drop others, and endeavor to accomplish some that would be required to accomplish the ideal goals.Advertising Looking for article on brain science? The primary point of an individual is to forestall the past errors and spotlight on what's to come. The past ought not be talked about on the grounds that it can't be changed. The customer has a chance to change the future, yet not the past. The hypothesis clarifies obviously how change is realized in light of the fact that it proposes that the primary target of the advisor is to exhortation the customer on the best way to accomplish the best outcomes later on utilizing the encounters of the past. I firmly agree with this announcement. For example, the advisor could guidance the guardians to disregard the past conduct of their youngster and spotlight on the best way to change the activities and convictions of the kid. The youngster couldn't be estimated dependent on the disappointments, yet the family could be encouraged to give the vital impetuses to enable the kid to improve. The youngster would improve their exhibition in school subsequent to being reminded that the individual in question has capacity if just the individual in question offsets homework with different exercises. The specialist would exhortation the guardians to urge the youngster to be finishing their schoolwork before going to games or plays. Through this, the family would have forestalled clashes. In such manner, I propose that treatment should target improving the future existence of a customer implying that the past doesn't make a difference so much, despite the fact that it must be utilized to comprehend the current issues. In my view, the hypothesis gives the specific point of treatment since it recommends that the arrangement ought to be reached toward the finish of the treatment. The view of the hypothesis is that treatment ought not be utilized to portray the past issues of the customer since it would just aim numerous problems.Advertising We will compose a custom article test on Family and Marriage Therapy explicitly for you for just $16.05 $11/page Learn More This is genuine in light of the fact that I accept that the customer may be moved by the past, particularly when the past is defaced by clashes and inconveniences. I likewise accept that treatment ought to include just the concerned customer, dissimilar to different professionals who include all relatives and companions in the treatment. Along these lines, others ought not be included, aside from the influenced people as it were. For example, the parent could be engaged with case the customer being referred to is their little girl or child. I recommend that the customer ought to be posed inquiries in regards to t heir favored future in a shut entryway meeting. For this situation, my supposition is that others ought not be included on the grounds that the targets of the customer are private, including their history. Auxiliary Theory Structural hypothesis is one of the speculations created by Salvador Minuchin to clarify family and marriage treatment. The hypothesis settle family issues through outlining the connections among relatives and family sub-sets. The hypothesis recommends that family clashes are brought about by the useless social frameworks (Minuchin, 1974). The family experiences issues fundamentally in view of its inability to adjust to stressors, including extra-family and peculiar stressors. In the family, chain of command of intensity is basic to the comprehension of the elements of the family. The fundamental point of the scholar was to figure a hypothesis that would advance rebuilding of the family framework dependent on a sound line.Advertising Searching for article on brain research? We should check whether we can support you! Get your first paper with 15% OFF Find out More The hypothesis has solid methods that are used for intercession at whatever point the family faces issues. The hypothesis is predictable with my conviction since it expresses that every subsystem has its jobs and capacities. My conclusion is that for a family and union with be fruitful, every subsystem must assume its job and capacity successfully. Past researchers noticed that inability to assume jobs and these capacities sincerely would prompt anomy or some condition of rebellion. I unequivocally concur with this view on the grounds that the parent must acknowledge the way that they experienced childhood in an alternate time as that of their youngsters. In such manner, I recommend that guardians must permit their youngsters to practice some opportunity, as they develop old. Kids on their part should comprehend their job in the family play without disappointment. Munchin accepted that change couldn't happen except if a few structures are custom fitted, which include allowing some fl exibility. I additionally accept that change would be guaranteed through control of the procedure, including barring a few individuals from the treatment. The barred individuals could be permitted to see the procedures in a mirror (Minuchin, Fishman, 2004). Through this, the family would understand the impact of useless subsystem and would be available to change through rebuilding. Since treatment is intended to determine the current and future issues, I concur that the hypothesis is very much positioned to clarify how specialists should complete their analysis. The specialist ought to consistently be in charge as indicated by hypothesis, which ought not generally be the situation. Every individual ought to be associated with settling on basic choices consequently the specialist ought to tune in to the perspectives on customers before moving in to recommend a potential choice. Whenever permitted to settle on every significant choice, the advisor may be impacted by their own convicti ons to give an off-base determination or even decision. The hypothesis proposes that every single accessible part should be permitted to give their perspectives, however the last decision rests with the advisor. In reality, this is likewise my feeling since the family capacities as a solitary unit implying that every individual ought to be mentioned to give their view as respects to how the issue influences their standard life. The procedure is controlled in light of the fact that a few members could be one-sided. At long last, the concerned individual is then tended to last. Enthusiastic Focused Theory Emotional centered hypothesis was created from connection hypothesis. It involves a few components of experiential and individual focused speculations. The hypothesis recommend that feelings have a versatile potential, which implies that they could be accustomed to achieve change in an individual’s life. Feelings can be controlled to achieve wanted conduct in a client’s life. The primary issue in human life is the control of feelings since individuals neglect to control themselves prompting significant issues that may at times be unsolvable. Feelings are connected the requirements that an individual qualities throughout their life. They power individuals to act in a manner that would hazardous to themselves, just as others (Greenberg, Johnson, 1988). Feeling centered hypothesis is utilized in situations where the customer can't deal with their feelings. The primary point of the advisor is to enable the customer to distinguish the impacts of his feelings in dynamic procedure. The possibility that people’s dynamic systems are affected by their feelings is a substantial articulation. I buy in to the arrangements of this hypothesis fundamentally as a result of this reality. Individuals some of the time overcompensate simply because of their enthusiastic state. They would make hurt others since they are in awful enthusiastic states. The primary job of the specialist is comprehend the reasons for emotional episode and guidance the customer to keep off from those conditions that change their mind-set. The advisor would have settled the primary issues influencing the customer by helping that person change likewise. Numerous individuals would make the most of their collaborations and connections in families and marriage on the off chance that they had the option to control their dispositions. In this manner, change would be unavoidable if individuals are assisted with controlling their feelings (Johnson, 2002). I suggest that the treatment should be intelligent implying that the customer should give their side of the story while the advisor utilizes a portion of the set up speculations

Speech Presentation Tribute Speech to Albert Einstein - 550 Words

Speech Presentation: Tribute Speech to Albert Einstein (Speech Presentation Sample) Content: Tribute Speech to Albert EinsteinStudents NameInstitutionGood morning teachers and my fellow students. Today I have the privilege to express my admiration to one of the greatest inventor to ever grace the face of the earth. Albert Einstein, he is the genius who gave Americans the keys to unlock the universe. He made a choice to live by science, and as according to the famous Nobel Prize winner Albert Camus, life is the sum of the choices u make.Albert was born in Germany; a place called ULM on March 14, 1869. He was excellent right from his birth. He would challenge science from the foundation of it as he never spoke a word till he was three years old, unlike the regular kids who usually speak at one and a half years (Hoover,1934). This got his parents worried but now I come to the think of it that this great man was quietly analyzing life and deciding which path he is to follow. Of course, he chooses a parallel course as most of his age mate kids back then, the game he played were not the common play soldier or tumble games, but he enjoyed building things, using cards and solving puzzlesI know most of you here will not believe me if I said that Albert failed high school. But indeed, his way of learning was different from the system in German education system at the time. You are not even allowed to smile, and asking questions is a capital crime,  thats how Albert would always tell his mother after coming from school. His teachers always saw him as lazy, and later he was expelled from the school. According to Einstein quote that says, Everybody is a genius. But if you judge a fish by its ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.  Its evidently clear that academic success was the primary determining factor of someones mental capability. What makes Einstein life so great? Is it his love for science and his admiration for religion? Science without religion is lame, religion without science is blind,  he would often say. If you ever tried to choose the best writing service for your assignment, you probably know that there are hundreds if not thousands of agencies dealing with this kind of work on the Internet. Google writing services and you will see a page after page of results, enumerating similarly named and indistinguishable agencies. It is the case when the first impression isnt deceptive most of them are really identical or similar in the quality of their writing and possibilities they provide. They are all based on more or less the same principles, and we, the people who have been studying this business for years, know that these principles are extremely unsound. Why Should I Pay Someone to Do My Essay? Many people have asked themselves this question, and most writing services dont give a really persuasive answer to it. We, however, are capable of answering it. When you deal with ThePensters, you know exactly who is going to write your paper, what kind of expertise in the chosen field he has, how experienced he is. Roman Fever and Hills Like White Elephants Essay - 2110 Words

Many times in life things are not as they seem. What may look simple on the surface may be more complicated deeper within. Countless authors of short stories go on a journey to intricately craft the ultimate revelation as well as the subtle clues meant for the readers as they attempt to figure out the complete â€Å"truth† of the story. The various authors of these stories often use different literary techniques to help uncover the revelation their main characters undergo. Through the process of carefully developing their unique characters and through point of view, both Edith Wharton and Ernest Hemingway ultimately convey the significant revelation in the short stories, â€Å"Roman Fever† and â€Å"Hills Like White Elephants† respectively. The use of†¦show more content†¦But the aspect of great ambiguity is very much prevalent in â€Å"Roman Fever† as well. Granted, Wharton provides a lot more information for the readers than does Hemingway, but the way the narrator mostly focuses on Mrs. Slade’s thoughts, describing every detail and leaves out a lot from Mrs. Ansley’s, certainly adds a sense of mystery to the story. From the very beginning the readers infer that there is something more to the shy and reserved nature of Mrs. Ansley. Clearly, even though the two are written in different narratives, both stories can be defined as ambiguous. This ambiguity also plays a major role in the development of both stories’ revelations and can ultimately be â€Å"solved† through the careful interpretations of the characters in each story and the use point of view in the stories. In the beginning of Edith Wharton’s â€Å"Roman Fever† the story seems to be simple enough. Two rich socialite friends are on vacation with their daughters in Rome. As the two daughters enjoy their youth by going out, their mothers sit side by side knitting, enjoying the view of the Coliseum, and reminiscing of their ow n teenage years spent in the glorious city of Rome. But as the story unravels, the readers get more insight into the personalities of each character, Mrs. Slade and Mrs. Ansley. As was previously mentioned, the third person omniscient narrator of the story seems to reveal more of Mrs. Slade’s thoughts. A company organizational struc... free essay sample

A company organizational structure is a guidance to all employees by laying out the official reporting relationships representing the workflow of the company and provide clarity on specific human resources management issues, such as managerial authority and to achieve the company goals George, J. (2005). A formal outline of a companys structure makes it easier to add new positions in the company, as well, providing a flexible and ready means for growth, hence, departments can work more efficiently and have more time focusing on productive tasks. The structure refers to both the formal and informal frameworks that shape how the business is operated. However, the management must select the most suitable structure for the organization as it is not a one size fits all decision. Implementation of a formal organizational structure can also differentiate small-business operations from large-business operations. (David, 2018). This report attempts to focus on the different type of structure (functional, divisional and network structures) undertaken for each type of different organization. We will write a custom essay sample on A company organizational struc or any similar topic specifically for you Do Not WasteYour Time HIRE WRITER Only 13.90 / page However, there are also elements such as work specialization, departmentalization, chain of command, span of control, centralization, decentralization and formalization which contributes to build a positive organization behavior. Functional structure is set up so that each portion of the organization is grouped according to its purpose. The functional structure is more technical orientated hence it enhances productivity level in which the organization can identify the expertise in each department. The lower level hierarchy level also gets to play a role in their responsibility, thus employees will have job satisfaction (Kalliath, 2009). Work specialization is the key structure to the organization structure. Today we use the term work specializations or division of labor, which activities in the organization are subdivided into separate jobs. For example, Google company adopted work specialization element, employees are carefully recruited, and they are job match each employee according to their knowledge. However, this hinders the rapid growth of the organization due to their stringent hiring process. The employees are strongly driven by the corporate culture. The organization also creates motivation to the employees by reward system and job enlargement to make sure that the employee is well engaged in the organization (Steven.L.M, 2005). However, the drawbacks to a functional structure is that it could lead to higher dysfunctional conflict and poor communication between departments which can delay the decision making, inflexibility. This type of structure is only suitable for small organization with one product or service as management can oversee the work process efficiently and maximize the employees performance (Julie. D, 2018). Starbucks had rearranged their organisation structure to improve on customer satisfaction (Shultz, 2008). The functional structure of Starbucks company is centralization of various departments or functions within the organization. By adopting functional structure using departmentalization element (geographic) each region has individual reporting managers which receives a closer managerial support for geographic needs and therefore a clear chain of command is apparent. A high degree of flexibility was used in individual department in adjusting strategies and policies to fit into various market conditions. This allows the employees to communicate effectively within the departments (George, 2005). Thus, there is presence of empowerment for the employees to make their own decisions and this gives them a sense of belonging to the organization (Starbucks, 2018). Today, with the new organizational structure, Starbucks had successfully achieved customer satisfaction and reduncies of employees are also eliminated and hence created a tensed working environment during the change of the structure. individual teams are being centralized to create an infrastructure with span of control globally within the region and hence capability and effectiveness are improved. Management can also focus more on the employees and functional activities can be design for each individual employee so the mission and goal of the organization will be shared across the organisation (Shultz, 2008).

Is there an interesting story here?Marcel Sobieski:Im in IT since 200 6 and the first three years I was managing a Swiss software company based in Chisinau, Moldova. We were focused on mobile payments and mobile platforms, working close with mobile operators. We were pretty much enterprise and did not know a lot of things about pure multimedia startups, design or B2C at that time.Nevertheless, one day we invited to an interview a web designer that we wanted to attach to a project for a Swiss client. He came to the meeting and rejected the offer, mentioning that he rather came to see a new company and touch the market instead of getting a job. He was a designer at a well established WordPress Theme Club up to today and money did not matter much. It was the first connection Ive had with these restless guys from the WP world. From that very moment I knew, we will return to this topic. And we did, in 2011. The year when our, at that time, flagship project Filestube.com started to shake under the major legislation changes of ACTA and SOPA regulations. What do you think youd be doing right now if WordPress didnt exist?Marcel Sobieski:Hard to say. We might joke that we would write it in the office with the team, but thats not the case. Definitely Id still be in the IT ecosystem, work with bright minded guys and colleagues. Would probably be in the mobile app industry, and this is also one of the directions we will take in a year from now. And would travel, and ride my bicycle.Whats your technique for staying productive throughout the day?Marcel Sobieski:There is an endless list of factors that distract us every day. From your daily Facebook notifications to concrete server issues, or a pissed off customer from hell, and you have to handle them all, no matter how. My case is a bit different because Im juggling from one project to another. We run simultaneously 3 successful startups in one office, with the same team. Somehow my the day is divided into clusters, dedicated to each project, to every issue, from product management to customer satisfaction and business development. This way I rarely get bored, being always refreshed and stimulated by my colleagues ideas and activity. In fact, this is the best team Ive ever managed to get in one company, a brilliant squad. But what keeps me and my team productive are actually the great results we see every day, from all over the world in these 3 projects. What keeps me and my team productive are actually the great results we see every day.How do you define being successful?Marcel Sobieski:At first, I would think about the cash we generate every month. Obviously, money talks and is a reliable criterion of your business success, maybe the biggest, although we should look at YouTubes or Twitters quarterly financial reports. In these two cases, the term success is not extrapolated into cash. Besides the financial profitability and constant offers to get acquired, we quantify our success in other metrics as well. Like having customers from 235 countries, like regular visits fro m North Korea, Afghanistan or Yemen, like excited testimonials our clients send us, like being well-known everywhere you go on this planet with the project we do, like respect and appreciation from our competitors and big fishes from the WP market. Like being able to inspire other youngsters or professionals to achieve even more, like seeing the astonishment on many faces when they find out that actually, we are TeslaThemes. These things, most of the times, matter more and make you feel both proud and humble about our success. What do you like to do when youre not WordPress-ing?Marcel Sobieski:Traveling and riding my bicycle. These are 2 of my passions. The more exotic the country I visit, the better. From Cuba to the Philippines, anytime and with excitement. I was lucky enough to ride my bicycle there as well. Im fortunate to spend my free time with my friends and family and my lovely girlfriend. In my spare time, I will always consider making some plans, both for our office and my personal life. What do you wish more people knew about WordPress?Marcel Sobieski:That WordPress is not easy anymore. Its a myth that in a couple of minutes you will have your website up and running. It used to be like that back in the day, but not now. In the same time, we want people to know that WordPress makes their lives so much easier if they choose a quality theme and partner with a strong theme club for the support. That way, they can save a lot of cash by using WP, and they can scale their websites with opulent and exuberant features, effects and plugins. My advice is to find a reliable and professional support provider, otherwise, alone, most probably, they will not be able to make it through.Exactly for this reason, seeing all these years so many users struggling hard to keep their themes alive the way they have imagined, we decided to help them and launched a new service WPmatic. Which is a 360-degrees 1-on-1 support and development center for any WordPress issue (includin g issues with themes).WordPress is not easy anymore.Whos doing things that are just cutting-edge and incredible in the WordPress space right now?Marcel Sobieski:Hard to say. Like seriously! Most of the players in the WordPress industry today think more about the money rather than leadership. How to make more cash, how to optimize work and save money again. So do we, everybody does, but there must be a significant room left for research and development, new intuitive frameworks for our moms and dads, for those who are not developers; smart and cool plugins; a different design layout trend. The market is tired of the general and boring templates: header, slider, about us, team and footer. Go to ThemeForest; all the themes are the same, nothing special, just a plastic theme multiplied. Everyone copies the most popular themes, changes the color and voila, ready to go. Its hard to mention a flagman, though there are some serious guys in the business. The first that come to my mind are Te slaThemes, WPZoom, MHThemes and ThemeIsle. I see soul and logic from these providers.Describe the WordPress community in one word.Marcel Sobieski:Crowded and at times overloaded. WordPress today feeds a lot of people, from Iraq to the US. Some of us made a fortune with WordPress. I cant imagine the world without it. We see so many new players entering this market every day and this makes us happy, cause competition develops and makes our lives better. But we still must think very seriously about my previous answer about solid and serious RnD and uniqueness when launching a new theme to the market, otherwise, we will totally compromise the WP core values.Whats the main threat to WordPress these days? Other platforms like Ghost, or maybe things like Squarespace?Marcel Sobieski:No external threats. WordPress itself is in a wonderful position as of today. The only real threat comes from within. It is about the bad quality that a lot of theme providers deliver in the run for earnings. Th ere is an ocean of WordPress themes on the internet that sincerely are useless, done without a logic, without a robust framework, just for the sake of sales, and people buy them, install them and get instantly pissed off and disappointed, a total mess and no support, and what happens? They move to Medium, they move to Ghost or any other nice, clean and intelligent platform. And I understand them. Every theme provider needs to bring quality, uniqueness, and usefulness to people. Many theme clubs think and work more to add intelligent tools to force their users to buy a theme, instead of convincing them with superb features, wonderful design and marvelous chromatic. The only real threat comes from within. It is about the bad quality that a lot of theme providers deliver in the run for earnings. What are your recommendations for a WordPress novice?Marcel Sobieski:Not to stay hungry and not to stay foolish. 🙂 But to eat good in the morning, and be vertical in his or her position, and persevere to bring something good, to be useful to the world, and be appreciated by those who use his or her artworks. Not to run for money, it will pop-up at the right time. Quality and usefulness are most important, plus add some luck on top. Those are indeed some golden tips from Marcel. I hope they will come in handy when youre working on your next WordPress project. What do you think about what Marcel Sobieski shared in this interview?

FBI Warning Regarding Phishing, Spoofing and ID Theft

FBI Warning Regarding Phishing, Spoofing and ID Theft The FBI,  the  Federal Trade Commission (FTC), and Internet service provider Earthlink have jointly issued a warning on how the growing ranks of Internet crooks are using new tricks called phishing and spoofing to steal your identity. In an FBI press release, Assistant Director of the agencys Cyber Division, Jana Monroe says, Bogus e-mails that try to trick customers into giving out personal information are the hottest, and most troubling, new scam on the Internet. The FBIs Internet Fraud Complaint Center (IFCC) has seen a steady increase in complaints that involve some form of unsolicited e-mail directing consumers to a phony Customer Service type of web site. Assistant Director Monroe said that the scam is contributing to a rise in identity theft, credit card fraud, and other Internet frauds. How to Recognize Attack Email Spoofing, or phishing, frauds attempt to make Internet users believe that they are receiving e-mail from a specific, trusted source, or that they are securely connected to a trusted web site when that is not the case. Spoofing is generally used as a means to convince individuals to provide personal or financial information that enables the perpetrators to commit credit card/bank fraud or other forms of identity theft. In E-mail spoofing the header of an e-mail appears to have originated from someone or somewhere other than the actual source. Spam distributors and criminals often use spoofing in an attempt to get recipients to open and possibly even respond to their solicitations. IP Spoofing is a technique used to gain unauthorized access to computers, whereby the intruder sends a message to a computer with an IP address indicating that the message is coming from a trusted source. Link alteration involves altering the return address in a web page sent to a consumer to make it go to the hackers site rather than the legitimate site. This is accomplished by adding the hackers address before the actual address in any e-mail, or page that has a request going back to the original site. If an individual unsuspectingly receives a spoofed e-mail requesting him/her to click here to update their account information, and then are redirected to a site that looks exactly like their Internet Service Provider, or a commercial site like eBay or PayPal, there is an increasing chance that the individual will follow through in submitting their personal and/or credit information. FBI Offers Tips on How to Protect Yourself If you encounter an unsolicited e-mail that asks you, either directly, or through a web site, for personal financial or identity information, such as Social Security number, passwords, or other identifiers, exercise extreme caution. If you need to update your information online, use the normal process youve used before, or open a new browser window and type in the website address of the legitimate companys account maintenance page.If a website address is unfamiliar, its probably not real. Only use the address that you have used before, or start at your normal homepage.Always report fraudulent or suspicious e-mail to your internet service provider. Most companies require you to log in to a secure site. Look for the lock at the bottom of your browser and https in front of the website address.Take note of the header address on the web site. Most legitimate sites will have a relatively short internet address that usually depicts the business name followed by .com, or possibly .org. Spoof s ites are more likely to have an excessively long strong of characters in the header, with the legitimate business name somewhere in the string, or possibly not at all. If you have any doubts about an e-mail or website, contact the legitimate company directly. Make a copy of the questionable web sites URL address, send it to the legitimate business and ask if the request is legitimate. If youve been victimized, you should contact your local police or sheriffs department, and file a complaint with the FBIs Internet Fraud Complaint Center..

State of the Art of Behavioural Accounting Research Literature review

State of the Art of Behavioural Accounting Research - Literature review Example Several academic writers and professional institutes have paid utmost attention towards the state of the art of behavioural accounting research wherein the prime intention has always remained focussed towards identifying the research assumptions of the same, which usually imposes considerable impacts on the decision-making procedure of accounting. Contextually, behavioural accounting assumptions help in preventing cognitive limitations in case of accounting and auditing, as it primarily emphasises understanding reasons to biases in the procedure and hence, offers better scope for enhancing transparency therewith. On the other hand, behavioural accounting assumptions also assist business organisations to maximize their expected utilities. Additionally, behavioural accounting theories also help an organisation to attain profit maximization in a more effective manner (Gillenkirch & Arnold, n.d.). According to the viewpoints of Gillenkirch & Arnold (n.d.), the behavioural accounting theory is utilised in preparing internal financial reports. Larger organisations are also involved in using the approach of behavioural accounting with the aim of preparing and disseminating financial information to the potential investors. In alignment with the above context, it can be inferred that behavioural accounting concepts help the global organisations to conduct their respective financial as well as management accounting procedures more accurately. It is therefore worth mentioning that with the assistance of behavioural accounting concepts, modern organisations are able to effectively implement the principles and guidelines of financial (external) auditing functions. This, in turn, supports them to utilise their respective tax accounting mechanisms more accurately (Gillenkirch & Arnold, n.d.). The prime objective of this study is to identify the key assumptions

Aspect of family in the film Pushing Hands Essay Example for Free

Aspect of family in the film Pushing Hands Essay Family has been depicted as one of the most important aspects in a number of films. Notably, many people believe in family as the most useful unifying aspect among various groups. In China, for instance, family is considered to be among the factors that individuals need to hold so dear to them. Various movies have been produced with the aspect of family being given weight in the movies. In addition, the cultural aspect of family has also been seen to be a factor that most individuals consider to be highly imperative in bringing to life the movies in question. This paper seeks to carry out an analytical interpretation of the aspect of family in the film Pushing Hands. In every family, father-to-son relationship is often seen as factor that is quite essential in bringing together the various family members. In addition, when the father and the son are at logger-heads, family unity is at a point of jeopardy and might escalate to highly detrimental scales. Apart from securing a unified family, father to son relationship is always considered a great aspect, especially in Chinese culture. In addition, most parents struggle to ensure that their children do not go against the immortal cultural values that each group is inclined to. Particularly, Chinese parents often want to see their sons embrace the Confucian cultural values even if they are in other countries (Huang, 2000). In line with family relationships between a father and a son, the film Pushing Hands seek to bring to the audience the idea of how westernization has affected family cultural values for the Chinese. Furthermore, the father (Mr. Chu) disagrees with his son Alex on the various family issues and cultural differences between the life in the United States and life in his home town Beijing, China. The film portrays the father son relationship as a cultural factor that should not be taken for granted and as an element that is highly significant in Chinese cultural aspects. As such, the script writer of the film has ensured that the film uses the best characters to bring out the issues of father-son relationship and the elements associated with the cultural differences between those living in the western countries and those living in China. Mr. Chu (Sihung Lung) who is an elderly man has fully devoted the wider portion of his life to the aspect of studying and teaching other learners tai chi in China. As a result of old age and the desire to be closer to his family, he makes up his mind to move in and stay with his son who is in the United States. However, having lived his entire life in Beijing, China, the elderly man finds it hard to cope with the different cultural factors in the United States. On the other hand, his son Alex (Bo Z. Wang) has been living in New York City for quite some time and has partly been affected by western cultural aspects which are totally different from the Chinese way of life and Tai Chi teachings (Hua-feng, 2013).One of the major family challenges that greatly affect the father and the son is the fact that the father arrives in New York without knowing any English word. In addition, the son is highly Americanized that it would be hard for the father to understand him. Besides, Alex has a w ife named Martha (Deb Snyder) who is a writer dealing with the pressure of trying to make sure she publishes her first novel, apart from taking care of her six-year-old kid. Mr. Chu faces the challenge of being totally at odds with a number of American customs and various technological factors. Furthermore, Mr. Chu cannot walk in New York alone as he easily loses his way. Since Mr. Chu is completely dumb on various factors in the American way of life, Martha begins to feel irritated with the fact that she might be taking care of two children. This is because the elderly Mr. Chu has to be taught everything as a child. While staying with his son, Mr. Chu develops a feeling that he has lost his dignity and independence thereby making the relationship between him and the son more challenging. Eventually, the elderly father tries to work things out on his own and look for a job. However, the harder he attempts to fit in the American culture and make New York look like his home, the more unfamiliar he seems to be. The elderly Mr. Chu feels lost in a different culture at a time when his son is feeling at home and has no issues being seen as an Americanized Chinese. The differences in cultural affiliations make the relationship between Mr. Chu and his son extremely difficult (Chan, 2004). The significance of the issues of father to son relationship in a family is highly relevant in the wider cultural context. The complexity in the relationship that is brought by different adaptation techniques to distinct cultures give the audience the most appropriate ways through which culture can be viewed in a wider perspective. The title is highly appropriate as it tries to bring out the facts about pushing an individual to conform to a cultural affiliation that is totally different from their original culture. In the non-aggressive turn of events between the father and the son, it is apparent that cultural fidelity is hard to break, and even if one does break it, it has to take quite a long time. The aspect of cultural conflict is an element that keeps on making various family ties broken hence making it difficult for the individuals involved to foster unity between themselves (Zhang, 2002). In the book From ‘Minority Film’ to â€Å"minority Discourse,’† Screening China, Zhang (2002) asserts that cultural aspects such as ethnicity and race play a major role in ensuring that family ties are kept alive. In addition, he argues that failure to stick to the family ties would lead to cultural conflicts. This cultural conflict is the main element that Master Chu find himself in and creates an internal misunderstanding in his cognitive thoughts. Even though his daughter-in-law totally misunderstood him, making him feel discontent and disgraced, the elderly Chu made sure that his efforts to cope up with American culture were kept alive. When he finally disagrees with his son over alleged mistreatment from the wife, he decides to gracefully have his way and walk out of the house. Consequently, after going his own way, Mr. Chu finds his own niche where he can have no one minding about his inclination to Chinese way of life. In conclusion, family and cultu re have been depicted as some of the most important aspects that need to be considered in learning cultural factors. Besides, culture has been seen as a major defining factor when it comes to association and togetherness. References Chan, K. (2004). Philosophy of Education Essay -- Philosophy of Teaching Statement

Philosophy of Education School. What is school? School is something where kids go five days a week to learn new things each day. School is where they get a good education so when they get out of college they can go get a high paying job and support their family. Having an education is something that will help you when you get in the real world. Education is something that has helped me to pursue my dream, which is to go to college and get a job as a teacher, which was influenced by my father. In my paper I plan to tell you about my views of nature of knowledge, purpose of education, why education is important, what I want to accomplish as a teacher, what one want the students to accomplish, methods, discipline, and curriculum. Today children are classified into three groups AP , intermediate, and LED. The children are strongly influenced by their environment just as Plato had said. If kids were born with the same intelligence, then we wouldn't have to classify them into three groups. One example to show that Rousseau' s theory was wrong is when I was in second grade and the teacher have us a reading test. The test was to see who could read well enough to move to a higher reading level. Some of us moved and some didn't. If Rousseau's theory was right that every student had the same intelligence, then every kid would have passed the test and moved to a higher reading level. However if kids that weren't read to as a kid are more likely to have lower scores in reading. Knowledge is the particular range of one's information or acquaintance with facts. This is something that is absolute and by that it means it will never change. What you learn can only make you understand life more. Life is knowledge, if you k... ...o think physical education classes can be good for teaching the students the importance of team work. The reason I think Health is important, is because most kids today doesn't know how the body works and don't know how to eat a healthy diet. Health goes right along with P .E. , because in Physical Education I'm promoting physical activity and in Health I'm promoting proper eating habits. It all ties in together on how to have a properly fit and healthy body that can produce a long healthy life. Many of the views that I gave you are similar to the views of Plato's. Many of the views discussed why education is so important in a person's life. Having a education is something that will help you beyond the work force it will help you in life itself. If it wasn't for the education that I have received over the years, I wouldn't be pursuing my dream as a teacher.

HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability & Accountability Act) Essay

The HIPAA is divided into two sections. Section one seeks to protect the right to continued health insurance cover for employees and their family members in the event of losing their job or shifting to another job (U. S. Department of Labor, 2010). This section also dictates limitations to group health plan benefits, which can be provided to preexisting condition to between 12 and 18 months after enrollment into the plan. However, the act does not impose such restrictions to long term plans provided separately from general health plan. This enables employees and their families to have insurance cover even after losing employment. The other crucial provision of the HIPAA is on patient information privacy (National Institute of Health, 2007). In a move to simplify and improve the efficiency of the use and transfer of health information, the act dictates for the development of rules setting standards for such operations within the health care system. The section also defines various programs for mitigating fraud activities or abuse of power in the system. On privacy, the act gives provisions for the use of disclosure of protected health care information of a patient (National Institute of Health, 2007). This is quite crucial in protecting the right to privacy and confidentiality by a patient. HIPAA also sets new transaction and code sets rule, which defines the standards for health care institutions to file their electronic claims for compensation. In addition, the act has established a security rule, which dictates new safeguard in dealing with electronic protected health information (U. S. Department of Health & Human services, 2003). To ensure effectiveness as well as flexibility of the security rule, it defines both required and addressable specifications for implementing the rule; with the latter being more flexible. Therefore, the HIPAA protects employee health insurance cover after loss of change of job and safeguards protected health information use and disclosure.

1984 vs. Brave New World Essay - 1442 Words

1984 Vs. Brave New World Imagine a world in which people are produced in factories, a world lost of all freedom and individuality, a world where people are exiled or #8220;disappear#8221; for breaking the mold. Both 1984 by George Orwell and Aldous Huxley#8217;s Brave New World are startling depictions of such a society. Although these novels are of fictional worlds, control of the future may be subtly evolving and becoming far worse than Huxley or Orwell could ever have imagined. Each society destroys the freedom of the individual through various controlling methods such as the denial of language and literature, a caste system and conditioning. One way in which each society controls is by limiting the language†¦show more content†¦For as Mustapha Mond says, #8220;It isn#8217;t only art that#8217;s incompatible with happiness; it#8217;s also science. Science is dangerous; we have to keep it most carefully chained and muzzled#8221; (Huxley 231). The Controller has made th inking impossible by taking away all science, art and religious based books. Literature, such as Shakespeare and the Bible, that teaches old-fashioned morality and beliefs is non-existent in the brave new world because people cannot understand its text. Consequently, by banning literature the people cannot experience life to the fullest. Its colors are dulled because the individual never has the chance to feel the vast spectrum of life. Emotions like anger, sorrow, love, trust and caring do not exist. As the Savage explains, he never knew he hated Pope until he felt the emotions through the works of Shakespeare. Thus, by destroying forms of art, all emotions are destroyed as well. Only happiness at its simplest state is spared, for blind happiness is necessary for stability. As an individual, there comes an ability to recognize and value what beauty truly is, such as the waves crashing upon a shore or the innocence of a child. But with the denial of literature and language, the individual is a mindless member of society. Introduction (400 words) Hook (80) Argument (120) This essay will critically review the understanding that G. W. Entittlements Essay Example For Students

Entittlements Essay Who Should Receive Entitlements? As part of American ideals, the government has aresponsibility to take a role in maintaining the financialsecurity of its citizens who are in need. Benefits aregiven to help those who are unable to provide forthemselves, and those who they are responsible forothers whoneed help. Although some people become dependent on thesegrants, the majority of those who receive them truly needthem. Support offered by the government needs to be strictlysupervised to help provide that these public help programsare not being taken advantage of. Medicare, which came into effect in 1966, is thepopular name for the Federal Health Insurance Program. Ithelps people 65 years of age and over. This programs goal isto ensure the medical care of the aging citizens. Medicare is designed to help out with the payment ofmedical bills. There are two aspects of this program, Part A,which covers doctors visits and Part B which covershospital charges. The bills for Part A are paid for by taxescollected from both workers and employers. Part Bs billsare payed differently than Part A. One fourth of the bill ispaid by the patient, and the other three fourths come from aCongressional layout.(Cayton, 873)One problem with Medicare, is that the fastest growingsegmaent of the population is those over 65 years of age. This is the group needs the most medical care. As thisgeneration ages, more and more money will need to be spenton their health care. As a result, the money availbe to payfor these claims may run out. Another entitlement given to the citizens of the UnitedStates comes in the form of Social Security. Social Securitywas formed in 1936 to help the generation of the GreatDepression pay for living expenses as they aged and stoppedworking. As a citizen works throughout his or her life, deductions are made from pay checks to pay Social Securitytaxes. Which in theory these taxes will be returned to themwhen they retire. The cost of benefits given to retired citizens haveincreased over the life of this program. In the 1930s themaximum amount that a worker would have to pay for SocialSecurity taxes was $3,000. In 1966, the amount had grown to$6,600 per year. Since 1966 the maximum yearly tax bill pertax payer has steadily grown along with the cost of livingfor retirees.(Shlaes, 3)Social Security faces some of the same problems asMedicare. The age group that Social Security was intendedfor is becoming very large. The increase in the cost ofliving and the large groups of eligible recipients hascaused doubt with many of the younger citizens. A studyconducted in 1994 showed that Americans born after 1964 aremore likely to believe in the existents of UFOs thanbelieve that Social Security will be availible when they areeligible for it.(Shlaes 1)Welfare is a common name for programs that helps payfor living cost of citizens that cannot support themselves. Many people feel that welfare is only free money for thosewho are to lazy to work for themselves. Welfare benefits arefor those who are in need, but some tax payers do not thinkit is their responsibility to help fund it. Misuse of welfare is common under programs now inaffect. The money given to these needy people can cause themto become dependent and not have the ability to supportthemselves. Recipients find it hard to get off welfare. 63%of welfare receivers will receive assistance for 9years.(Cayton 873)Many enticements are now availible for individuals whoare on welfare to make it easier for these people to supportthemselves. In 1996, money was given to children on welfarefor schooling, hoping that schooling would help thesechildren off welfare when they became older. To discourageteen pregnancy and young mothers with families on welfare, women with children were forced to live at home or insupervised housing in order to receive assistants. Housing and transportation are made accessible for those who couldmaintain a job. (Zuckerman 2)A huge indication that welfare does not work is thatsome citizens after getting off welfare still facedifficulties paying for thier bills. One third of the womenwho g et off welfare are forced to cut meal sizes, or evenskip meals entirely to make ends meet. Also 38% of womenrecently off welfare say that they have, at least once, notbeen able to pay rent, mortgage or utility bills.(Zuckerman7)The entitlements that the United State Government givesto its citizens are meant to help the lives of those whoreceive them. Although the Government has a responsibilityto it needy citizens, it also has a responsibility to spendtax money in a way that will benefit all people. Theseentitlements cannot continue to benefit those who need themunless the money to fund them can be found in the budget. .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6 , .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6 .postImageUrl , .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6 .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6 , .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6:hover , .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6:visited , .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6:active { border:0!important; } .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6 .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6 { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6:active , .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6 .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6 .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6 .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6 .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6 .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6 .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .uc6f09a5de42768e2f04464831aa48ee6:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Music Business Essay SummarySince most Americans can support themselves, the majority ofthe countrys budget should be used to benefit the majorityof the tax payers. There must be a balance between spendingmoney on the majority and spending money on the those thatneed help.
